with the predecessor of the EM64-80-180 we had already impressively managed an inexpensive alternative drive for the 60 cc petrol engine in the popular 2.3 m aerobatic class whose power the 50 - 60 cc was superior to gasoline engines. The EM64-80-160 could of something better. We were able to increase the processing quality further and reduce power consumption at approximately the same performance significantly.

The EM64-80-180 turns a 24 x 12 Super Silence propeller at 12S with 6500 U / min and a 24 x 14 Super Silence with 6350 U / min. The power consumption is e.g. 12S and 24 x 12 Super Silence at 110A. Thus, makes possible flight times from 7 - 12 minutes with a 12S 6000mAh battery pack. Depending on the style of flying.

Of course, the engine is also suitable for other applications such as in Towplane, Warbirds or Gliders up to 20 Kg. For use in a Towplane likely to depending on the required performance, also our claim EM64-80-160 engine ideally suited. Especially the lower demand for electricity is interesting as it leads to significantly longer flight times.
