The original: The Zlin Z-526 is Czechoslovak sports and art aircraft trener series. The two-seat versions carry the nickname trener master, the single-seater called Acrobat and Acrobat specialty. The Z-526 was known by winning the World Aerobatic Championships 1968 in the team standings.
The Model: The Zlin 526 AFS in the model developed by Thomas Schmidt (www.Aeroflug.de) has meanwhile completely specialized in the manufacture of high quality electronic products for modeling. Of the forms and drawings of his Zlin he parted with a heavy heart. Now they are in our possession and we lead the series production by.
The model is built in a modern all-composite construction. All major wood parts, including the chassis bracket are already glued in place. The model is absolutely Scale and can be built to a scale model of competition.
The flight characteristics are excellent and with the appropriate engine everything is possible, the original can do. The dual ailerons can be used as flaps, which makes the landing very simple.
A corresponding pneumatic retractable landing gear is available as an option. The engine ranges from the single-cylinder engine with 75-85 cc (Scale Aerobatics) up to 110 cc inline engine for powerful dynamic aerobatics.
All in all, the Zlin a rare model on the airfields and so extraordinary flight model "Made in Germany".
